Introducing the newest business meetings for Herefordshire – the Hereford Business Coffee Morning.

I love networking – I love the people I meet, the variety of businesses I come into contact with, and the range of suppliers in the local area. There are lots of networking opportunities, but mostly formal networking which require a 60 second intro and the handing out of a million business cards, or are really early in the morning (it’s ok to network in your pyjamas right??). I do attend these meetings, and there’s something to be gained from all of them, however there is a gap to be filled and this is where the Hereford Business Coffee Morning comes in.

I am hosting this new networking event along with the lovely Lyndsey Smith of Shooting Star Photography. We are both local business people, owning our own businesses, and understand the importance of great recommendations from people. Word of mouth is very powerful and we love to refer people to other local businesses that we know and trust. This drove us to set up the new Hereford Business Coffee Mornings. The aim of this new meeting is to give people a really relaxed space to meet new business people, expand their contacts, and increase their brand awareness. It’s not a “selling” event for people to gain new clients, but an event where people can get to know more local businesses and build up a trust in them so that they can refer on in the future. There won’t be any standing up and introducing yourself, and no 60 second talk about what you do, but just coffee and a chat with some like-minded people. We would love to help people in their businesses though, so if there’s something in particular that you need some help with why not let people know on the event page on Facebook (here’s the link to the first one, after that just search for it on Facebook), or get in touch with myself or Lyndsey, and we’ll try and find someone to link you up with at the next meeting.

What’s even better is that there will be food available should you want it! The meeting will be held at The Den on West Street, Hereford, and they do a fabulous brunch menu, and all at great prices. If you just want a coffee that’s fine too. The Den is a lovely, modern space and a local small business which we’re happy to support, so what better venue to hold our meetings at?

Come along and join us at the first meeting on 11th May 2016, and then the second Wednesday of each month after that. We’ll be there from 9am – 11am and whether you have the whole 2 hours to spare, or just 15 mins on your morning break, you’re very welcome. The more the merrier! Remember to bring any PR materials that you want people to be able to take away.

We look forward to seeing you there.
