MY GUIDE TO ONLINE WEDDING ABBREVIATIONS & ACRONYMS
Picture the scene: you’re newly engaged, you’re excited and ready to plan, and you’re going to spend a lot of time in front of the computer, so you decide to join a few online wedding forums. You fill in your profile, complete with how many days there are left until your wedding day, and head over to the groups to see what wedding planning conversations you can get involved in.
And then it happens – all the letters! Random letters everywhere, and you have no idea what they mean. Everyone else there seems to know what the heck they’re talking about, but you don’t know where to start. It’s not as though you can guess either. H2B could be anything couldn’t it. Have To Buy? Hair Too Big? (It’s Husband To Be by the way). What about MOTB? Mountain Of Tremendous Bills? Man Offered To Build? (That one is Mother Of The Bride….. of course!!!!).
I’m going to help you out with these, and many many more…… Here’s your handy guide to those online wedding abbreviations and acronyms. You can even download a copy to keep for yourself. How helpful is that?
Are you feeling a little more confident now? Feel like you can take on the wedding forums with your new knowledge of wedding abbreviations? Then go for it! Happy chatting and planning.
One more thing before you hit the wedding forums. I did spend a heap of time looking for these abbreviations, but I may have missed some. If there is a wedding abbreviation or acronym that I haven’t found and listed then please let me know so that I can update the list. Just pop me a comment below.
p.s. I promised you a downloadable version of these abbreviations and I didn’t forget. Just click the button below and it’ll open in a new window ready for you to save.
